Opening doors for girls is overrated! Girls like to think that they can take care of themselves, so I think we should let them. Yeah, I said it! I am all about womens rights, their right to vote, drive, cook, get promotions (usually because their hot) and open doors for themselves.

Alan Keyes is running for president. President of the United States of America. I believe Alan Keyes is the best candidate running for president in 2008. Hands down. The problem is, he doesn’t stand much of a chance at winning, but regardless, I think you throw away your vote when you vote against your conscience or when you vote for the least of two evils or if you vote uniformed, or even if you vote for “your party’s choice” and not the best choice.

I have a few issues with the run for the presidency this time around… one of which is having a person I can get excited about running. Barack and McCain look like your typical politicians, although they differ on policy I feel like they are very similar in that respect. I see Obama as someone making me promises he doesn’t intend on keeping just to get in office and without respect for the position (much like Clinton). McCain seems like he would treat the position of president with respect and maybe even be good at it, but if he is such a maverick why have I not seen anything change before now because of him.

So John McCain is running for president. President of the United States of America. Boy, this intro sounds familiar. I kind of have the same feelings for McCain as I do for Obama, just in a different way… obviously. That probably doesn’t make any sense at all.

Barack Obama is running for president. President of the United States of America. For some reason, Barack just doesn’t come off well with me. I mean don’t get me wrong, I think he is a great speaker, has a great personality, and has some charm. He just strikes me as a politician. I feel the same way about John McCain… but I will get to him later. I think I like politicians who don’t strike me as politicians.

Looking at the calendar, you’d think it was still the autumn of 2007. Unfortunately, Washington D. C. thinks it is autumn of 2008. They’ve never quite been in touch with the rest of America, have they? We face a historic vote next year for the direction of the United States.

Actor Sean Penn recently left the United States to visit Hugo Chavez, President of Venezuela. Chavez has spent the past several years administering his “Bolivarian Revolution” in his native land. Championed by everyone including Communists, Socialists, Terrorists and Hollywood, Chavez has slowly stripped human rights from his people on their behalf.

Shootin’ and killin’… don’t knock it till you try it! Why can’t we go back to the days of the Wild West? Back then you were known by how fast your hand was and you didn’t have to take any crap from anyone. If you were quick enough you could do anything you wanted… and lets not forget you would always get the girl in the end… and something about the sunset.

Terrorism. It’s a real nightmare these days. You can’t crawl out of bed without hearing a horror story hailing from the middle east, our children can’t even attend their classes without the fear of being shot by the class nerd, and don’t even think about getting on an plane without having to disassemble your laptop while explaining the fillings in your teeth.
