What To Do About PINK LADY
By: Nathan Mallon | 15. Dec 2008
By Pink Lady I am not referring to a woman in a pink outfit, I am referring to an exciting apple that has become one of my favorite fruits. Pink Lady is actually the brand name of this particular apple which is a cross between a Golden Delicious and Lady Williams apple.

Why is this Pink Lady so unique? First of all she has a pink blush over a yellow background which makes her more attractive than most of the other apples out there. Secondly the Pink Lady has a vivacious crunch when bitten into and her flavor is tangy and sweet…it’s very refreshing! She also has a longer storage life than a lot of apples when refrigerated properly.
Some other reasons why you should enjoy the Pink Lady are that she is a good source of fiber and antioxidants which is something your body needs. Anyways, the Pink Lady looks good and is good for you so give her a try, she’s worth the hype. Did I mention that she is from Australia?

mmmm… I want one
I like to eat apples when they are refrigerated and cut up. Any kind, red delicious, mcIntosh, fuji, gala, and even for a nice tart taste on a morning drive–the granny smith apple.
I get down with apples, with that being said, I want to try this Pink Lady.
Try one, then let us know what you think.
Pink Lady = Falguni = Unique = Attractive = Sweet = Vivacious = Long Life = India
I knew your were talking about me…ha!
People, try them, they are delicious! I don't like apples, but these are AMAZING!
I'm personally a huge fan of the Honeycrisp.
Though Pink Lady is a close second.
The Honeycrisp is sweet and tart and extra crunchy. Apple perfection.
Other interesting facts is that it was discovered by accident and is from Minnesota.
Yes, a lot of people make a bid deal out of the Honeycrisp, and I think it's a good apple, but I like the Pink Lady quite a bit better still. The sweetness of a good organic Pink Lady is a bit more tart than a Honeycrisp and it has a crunchier crispness to it than the Honeycrisp as well. To each his own though.
Sweetness of a Honeycrisp is more sweet like honey and less tart.
The pink lady is where it's at. Thank you Nate for my introduction to pink ladies.
I tried the pink lady apple this week, and I love it!
I have one in the fridge that will be consumed at work in a little bit.
Nice!!!
They're the best.
