What To Do About OPENING DOORS FOR GIRLS

Opening doors for girls is overrated! Girls like to think that they can take care of themselves, so I think we should let them. Yeah, I said it! I am all about womens rights, their right to vote, drive, cook,¬† get promotions (usually because their hot) and open doors for themselves. I think we have come a long way in this progressive society but I don’t think it has been long enough, if we still have to open doors for the girls. Are their arms broken? Do they hold the doors for us? Do they want equal rights? I think you know the answers to these questions. Just let it be said that equal means equal if you want chivalry then ask for it. Honesty is a killer, you want a promotion work for it, if you want more money then go back to school. Give me a break I don’t even get acknowledged from the girls I hold doors for anymore. A simple tap on the ass or a thank you would suffice.¬†


What it sounds like is ladies don’t want chivalry, correct me if I am wrong but it sounds like they want everything a guy has and the guys too. Maybe my views are a bit skewed, it has happened a time or two, but one thing I do know is: no more doors for me. These girls are crazy, and they know it. This blog is not about opening doors.

    I always say thank you when anyone holds doors open for me. Especially guys. I'm not going to go about tapping strangers on the ass. So I'm just super polite. I also hold open doors for everyone, including guys.

    But you're right chivalry is dead, and it's because women's lib killed it. Now they want it both ways. That's not right.

    I think if people were more polite that would fix a lot of problems. But alas, the world is full of rude assholes.

    I love it when guys open doors for me. You are probably not from the South because its a Southern Hospitality thing…… However, since you feel like it's to much work for you. You should wear a shirt that says “will open the door for donations or to slightly grab your bootie or you grab mine” and that should resolve your problem…. That way, you will never feel ripped off . Problem solved. : )

    See, thats what is missing from the world today. Men think they deserve “something” for every kind act they do. Why can't you be kind, just to be kind? Giving not expecting to receive.

    Anyways, I LOVE LOVE LOVE when guys open/hold doors for me, and I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS say Thank you and smile at them. Little things in life like door holding makes me happy. I think when it comes down to it, I just love good manners.

    And I open/hold doors for others too. men, women, sometimes children, but not teenagers. They can very well open their own doors and maybe learn to RESPECT others. but I digress…..open/hold a door for me, and you will get a thank you and a smile, but not a tap on the ass.

    I agree it would be stranger to be ass tapped, but think of the joy it would bring someone if you dismissed your comfort and served with utter disregard for yourself. It would be great, you would feel full filled and you could go on living. That is why I do for a select few, I see the gratefulness in their eyes.

    We all expect something for something, its what makes the world go round. As a matter of fact I just gave something for something the other day and I felt rewarded when the something I gave made the someone smile at the something the received. Something for something is not the bad thing here its the something that is fishing for something without deserving the something else. Something is missing here when considering something for something even when there is nothing in return.

    I sometimes disappear after I type, but I usually reappear after a good tap on the ass! Ok not really, I do agree with the teenager angle you presented. Which leads me to my point of the article, respect is complicated.

    I am so independent that it's so hard for me to let someone else open the door for me, but I do LOVE it when a guy opens the door for me. I do always say “thank you” too! Sometimes, I end up opening the door for the guy…but that's for my little man, Krishan, my nephew…ha!

    I do nice things for people all the time and don't care about the gender… I've opened doors for women and men and have had them both opened doors for me… And if an elderly person is coming up behind me or is struggling to get to the door… I make sure to open it for them.

    I think it's not really about doors.. Its just all about being kind. Good attitudes!!! It's the best thing in the world to experience kindness from a perfect stranger……… See, men don't realize it but they hold the power to make us feel fragile and make us feel “protected.” There is nothing better when one steps into that roll and acts like a badazz and opens a door for ya… and then smiles…. However, I don't care for a tap in the bootie – thats a little to friendly… Or perhaps – sexual harrassment. But I guess you can't blame a guy for trying to hit some boo-tie. LOL.

    If you do an “Action” then you want a response back. Nothing worse then doing something kind without getting an REACTION………………. Guess I can understand where your coming from now on the article. It would suck to be invisible when your doing something kind….. Let the stuckup girl get it herself.. Or perhaps, drop the door on her.. Bet that will catch her attention.

    I have a strange story, but a friend of mine went to open the door of his car to his girlfriend, and as he went around the car, 4 armed men came and robbed his car o_O. I'm a girl, and I think it's cute when a guy opens the door for a girl, but he should always be carefull where he does that hehehe

    I like to hold the door and let it go at the last moment before and give them the option (women like options dude) to catch the door with foot/hand or the woman can let it shut and get it herself.
    Yes, Hold the door for HOT blonde babes. They really don't know how, they just stand there like the whining laborador at the back door. However; in other countrys I have noticed that women will be polite, thank you (Here's the pat on the ass you were looking for). America as you know has become a self centered sadistic bastardization of the great place it once was. There is no turning it around and we are all DOOMED, Doomed doomed. I know the end of earth is near and the extra-terestrials will not save us. But simply put. DON'T PANIC! Drink more booze and hold them doors.
