There are much more styles you can do with your hair if it is long, well since high school I started growing my hair long and I simply love my long curly hair, recently I've been using a GHD Hair Straightener which had allowed me to stright and style my hair much easier and perfectly without doing any harm

I completly agree with this

except in the case of dredlocks and afros
when it comes to those styles
the longer the better

although there is still a fine line with the pro/con attracting girls thing

on one hand, girls LOVE to play with an afro/locks
more than should be legal
it gets kinda crazy
however, most girls wouldn't realistically go for that

You know – I've never liked the long hair look on a dude. Anything longer then shoulder length is a little much…. It's weird to watch a guy play with their hair and use a ponytail holder.. Just weird…. Also, with that said most guys hair gets oily pretty quick or they don't wash it often enough.. Nothing worse than a long hair dude with oily greesy grimy hair… Who is constantly battling hair out of their eyes……

once you cut your hair, it's like losing a friend. the only memoir that's left is the image of a picture in a distant past.
the longer it is, the more life you've lived with that rag.
two years? three years? four years? it's a history.
each stage runs into another stage, into an awkward stage.
then the stage of it just going everywhere.
stay strong, because if you don't have long hair, who will?
who cares about attracting women? women don't know what they want so leaving them confused is usually the best option. to cut is to be every other guy out there.
to exist as a norm. well...shucks it's not darn worth it.
people nag, they harp, they touch. hair conditions, it endures, it sucks (at times).
looking ridiculous is half the battle, the other half is looking even more ridiculous.
with that short hair a part of personality is lost from that long haired idiot that once embodied your disposition.
be a champ and wear a bandanna or a headband or something.

i cut my hair some months ago and i can tell, tho being a metalhead, it's so much better.

hooray for showers that only take 5-10 minutes instead of 20 (+ another 30 to get your hair dried)

Honestly, I think it's incredibly attractive when guys have super long hair. I just think about running my hands through it while we……i'm going to stop there.

My hair is long for a guy, but not quite girl long yet. But yeah, to avoid having hair all over me i try my head first with one side of the towel then dry my body with the other side next.
